Do you have the right sources enabled for the version of the Player's Handbook you purchased? For the current (2024) Player's Handbook, you need core rules enabled. For the legacy (2014) Player's Handbook, you need to have legacy content enabled.
While you're on that page, try clicking the "Sync My Entitlements" button, too. Watch for a popup that says the sync was successful; don't worry if the page itself still says you're out of sync.
For some reason the handbook I purchase is not appearing as a source when editing my character.

Yeah it is, and I've tried "Sync My Entitlements" and I still can't seem to load the Handbook when I edit my Character.

All I see is the 2014 Core Rules (Oath of Devotion) and Critical Role (Oath of the Open Sea).
These are all the once I have checked -
Character options from the Player’s Handbook, Dungeon Master’s Guide, Monster Manual, and D&D Beyond Basic Rules.
Character options from supplementary sourcebooks beyond the Core Rules.
Character options from the 2014 Player's Handbook, Dungeon Master's Guide, Monster Manual, and Basic Rules.
Character options from older sources that may conflict with the Core Rules. These include sources that are out of print or created for charity.
I've also joined the Discord if its easier to share my screen of what I'm seeing.

ModeratorThat sounds like you’ve selected the 2014 Paladin. You’ll need to remove it and select the 2024 Paladin instead (the one under Core Rules).
