When adding the race ability scores for the PHB Half-Elf, you are able to add Charisma again even though it should be two other ability scores which should exclude Charisma.

Seems like a good choice for 1st level bard character, +4 on Charisma is awesome!

Dnd beyond overlords, The Half-Elf trait is still not working as the rules say.

Not sure if you know about it but the Base Half Helf abilitiy scores arnt distributing right. normally its +2Cha +1 to two other stats. currently i can make a half elf with a +4 Cha or +2/+2 to any other stat

Not working on my HalfElf or my human or my dragonborn.

The menu for selecting your two free +1 ability modifiers as a half-elf lets you add both to charisma, ending up with a total of +4 to the score. You can also add the two +1's to the same stat twice even if it isn't charisma.

You shouldn't be able to select Charisma on the half-elf racial trait. I can't seem to replicate this issue. Can you link me your character?
