I have tried several times to print the new character sheet and every time the diamond checkboxes were printed with way longer edges then needed. I tried to investigate and came into a conclusion that the issue is caused by the shape changing in upscaling and the edges becoming longer as you zoom in more.
Unfortunately, I'm still having this issue as well. Converting it to an image definitely works. Another way around that doesn't involve converting into an image is to go into your advanced printer properties and tell your printer to print as an image.
I had a problem where the file just wouldn't print (left it churning for about 15 min before I gave up). I think the 16MB of vector graphics proved too much to handle for my printer. I created a rasterized version of the PDF and then realized it had really weird proportions (slightly smaller than US Letter, but not exactly the same width:height ratio). I decided to edit the rasterized images to fit on A4 paper more gracefully. As part of this I removed the Size and Passive Perception boxes, moved Initiative and Speed to the left column, and increased the size of the Class Features, Equipment and Spells boxes. Attached is a zip file containing these Letter and A4 rasterized PDFs and the files I used as part of my editing process in case you want to edit yours further.

You are not alone, I am also having this problem
The only fix I have found personally is going into Affinity Publisher and printing it there. Maybe try different programs?
I found a way to get it to work, the points look a bit weird, but if you convert it into images, I use PDFsam enhanced.
I do not have that problem and I have two different printers. I'm not sure what the issue is.
Similar issue :/
Is this still not fixed? Come on, WOTC...just make those images instead of of lines with masking.

I fixed the problem by converting it to a JPG and reconverted it to a PDF. I'll link the fixed file below

Thank you so much! You are a life saver!
You rock! Thanks so much for this!
I wish I had seen your post earlier, I have so many janky prints sitting in a folder!
Are you using A4 or Letter to print it? It works fine for me on a Lexmark printer using A4.
