Character Builder Issue

Is anyone else having issue with the character creation tool?  I own the 5.5 books my group uses the 2014 ruleset so in the settings I click on Homebrew, 5E Core Rules, and 5E Expanded Rules.  The system does not load my 5E Core Rules, it only loads the 5E Expanded Rules. 

I've logged out and logged back in and cleared the cache.

Any suggestions?     

Do you own any of the 5e Core Rules books, or have access to them through content sharing?

I own all of the core books and expansion books.

What specific things are you missing in the character builder?

The character won't load the 5e core rules component.  I can't select a core sub-class or any spells that are found in the player's handbook.  It only loads the material from the 5e Expansion books.

Just to clarify: you don't see any subclasses from the 5e Player's Handbook as options you can select? 

Or you only see the free one that's in the Basic Rules, and not any of the others from the Player's Handbook?

If it's the former, that's what would happen if "5e Core Rules" was unchecked under Sources on the Settings tab. It's worth double-checking whether that's actually checked or not.

If it's the latter, there are two likely explanations:

1. You've actually selected a 5.5e class and you don't own the 5.5e Player's Handbook. You'll want to remove that class and select the 5e one instead.
2. You've selected a 5e class, but you don't actually own the 5e Player's Handbook. Go here and check and see if it's in your list of things you own.

I deleted the character and started over and it worked.
