Could you please either disable backspace or pop up a 'are you sure you want to lose everything you have done in the past 5 minutes' modal box. Very frustrating to lose 5 minutes of typing because I hit the backspace key.
I second this! Accidentally losing your work on a homebrew creation through an accidental backspace when not clicked into the textbox is the bane of my homebrewing existence :(
The backspace key taking you back to a previous web page is a function of the browser, rather than the D&D Beyond website.
I'm not sure there's much the D&D Beyond developers can do to help with this.
Many sites have a confirmation if you're on an page where you enter lots of information. "Are you sure you want to go back? You may lose unsaved changes." Or similar-- It's a functionality that can be added to relevant areas. ;)

I'm a software engineer that develops web applications. Telling *me* it's not technically possible is just silly.
Hitting the backspace key trying to delete some text and losing all my work is a BUG!
Also, it is crazy that the three of us all joined D&D Beyond in a three day period 18 months ago!!
