it's due to all of the additional formatting you've applied (specifically that you have part of the [ /spell ] tag formatted differently so it's not being picked up as a tag). I have edited your post directly so you can see how it is done by clicking the edit button on your post.
Whenever I have been typing the following I have not been able to get it to link as a spell; just as the text... what am I doing wrong?
