A 7th level Champion Fighter with a Dex of 16 is shown as having an Initiative bonus of +3.
Remarkable Athlete adds half the character's proficiency bonus (rounding *up*) to any Str or Dex checks that don't already include a proficiency bonus, and Initiative is a Dex check, so the character's Initiative bonus should be +5 at 7th level.
Likewise, any Dex or Str skills the character isn't proficient with should show the same bonus.
however surfing the web seems lots of people see it as a bonus of the 7th level champion ability remarkable athelete , maybe devs missed that you could intepret it adds to initative
I'm looking at the character you linked and, with a dex bonus of +5, it's showing as having an initiative of +7, which seems correct to me, taking into account the Remarkable Athlete feature.
I've had a look at the modifiers that are set for that feature and they are as follows:

ive been comparing created chars and this still exists as a bug

No thats fine if its supposed to be there i have no problem either way, there are those out there that looked at it either way on inititative
