This is something that has baffled me for awhile on this site: whenever you create a link, there's an option to "Target New Window" and yet it never seems to work, anywhere on the site. Is there a reason for this? If so, then why is it there at all? Can it be implemented?
Given that two of my players use Microsoft Surfaces and I put links into the sidebar of the character sheets for pertinent campaign information, it's a little frustrating for them with the touchscreen to not have the links open in a new window.

"Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation."
The functionality that creates links that target "new window" works correctly and is part of the core Content Management System.
However, those links opening in a new tab is superceded by the intercept that displays, "You are about to leave D&D Beyond" when a link is selected.
I understand that this is odd from a perspective of, "why give me the option if it doesn't work" - anywhere where you would like to open a link in a new tab, you can hold down the CTRL key whilst clicking on the link.
