Hi! I'm running into a problem with my Dhampir homebrew race. I have a few subraces for the race, yet when I toggle the "will have subraces" option and add the subraces, the race itself doesn't show up in the character builder. When I un-toggle the "will have subraces" option, it then shows up in the builder without the subraces. My subraces (at least the one I need done) are fully complete, I just can't choose the race as an option when making a character.
As a note, I have checked to make sure to enable homebrew content.
I don't think that anything is going wrong - I think what's happening is you're expecting the homebrew race to work in the same way that the official races do, with a racial grouping, so that you would click on Dhampir first and then select your Dhampir subrace.
For homebrew races with subraces, that doesn't happen - you'll see that the subraces are directly displayed on the list of available races.
I believe that the developers intend to make it possible to structure races with subraces how you're expecting, but it's not possible currently.

When you define the subraces, you have to set a race group for the builder.
Thanks for the quick reply! I tried adding a race group to both the parent race and the subrace, and neither seemed to change anything in the builder.
no, for the parent race, there shouldn't be a race group Try removing it or post here the link address of the parent race editor.
