Thanks for the heads up on that - it does looks like a mistake, as it's different to all of the other tables!
I've just checked against the latest physical print of the DMG though and the physical print has the exact same text, including "pp"
A little odd, but as D&D Beyond represents the exact rules of the current printing of Dungeons & Dragons, we need to leave it as being the same, unless Wizards of the Coast issue an errata!
I understand that there is an updated print & errata coming fairly soon though. If it's changed in that, we'll absolutely get it cleared up.
Cool beans, I didn't have the physical DMG on me to check. I went ahead and put in a bug for Wizards to take a look if they were not already aware, and put it in a future errata if it is not in the next already.
I only stumbled across this as I was copying the grids into an excel on my home computer to generate some roll tables for my personal roll20 campaign, and it broke my excel formulas, normal day to day usage and I would have never seen this.

in the DMG, Challenge 11–16 Treasure Hoard table
The line to roll for platinum pieces features the abbreviation pp, no other line except for this has the abbreviation on the line
