I have made a sorcerer and the attack bonus for their weapons is being calculated incorrectly. I have a +5 proficiency bonus and and +2 Dex but my attack bonus for dagger is showing as +9. I do have a "Staff of Power" attuned which does give a +2 to attack and damage but only with it specifically. (This staff can be wielded as a magic quarterstaff that grants a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it. While holding it, you gain a +2 bonus to Armor Class, saving throws, and spell attack rolls.) My AC, spell attacks and saves are all being calculated correctly.
Unless I am missing something with the sorcerer class I think this is a bug with the "Staff of Power" and the attack bonus calculation.
I've checked this scenario out and you're correct - the bonus of the magic item does indeed add +2 to hit and damage for all weapons the character is using.
I had another issue in that the Staff of Power won't even appear in my weapons section of the character sheet!
I've notified the staff about this issue and it should be resolved fairly soon.
Yeah, I just noticed that the spellcasting attack modifier on my ranger isn't including the proficiency bonus. It should be a +5 (+3 for 16 Wis, plus the +2 proficiency bonus), but it's incorrectly adding up to +3 instead.
Hopefully this is part of the same bug and they're on it.

Could I get a link to the character that this is happening on?
Actually, never mind -- I just confirmed it to be user error. I mistakenly assumed that the proficiency bonus needed to be added to the spellcasting modifier, but it doesn't, not in this case. I didn't have any spells on my ranger that actually required spell attack rolls. I confirmed on a wizard character that the proficiency bonus and spellcasting modifier are separate things, and they are indeed being added together correctly for spell attack bonuses on spells like Ray of Frost, etc.

It is currently a part of a known bug, and as a quick fix we removed the modifiers applying the +2 to attack/damage rolls to everything. However since the underlying bug will take a bit longer to fix, the Staff of Power will be missing +2 to its own attack/damage rolls in the mean time.
We will get this fully fixed in a later update, and appreciate the report.
I have experienced a similar problem with the Spell Attack for my Druid Allanon.
Contagion and Acid Arrow show a +18 spell attack, but my Wisdom modifier is +5, my Proficiency is +6 and the attuned Staff of the Woodlands only gives a +2 to Spell Attack Rolls. All together should be +13 to spell attack rolls.
I've noticed that the character sheet includes a to hit override which is helpful to keep that number right, but since it is a bug I thought it right to draw your attention to that error.
I'm having a weird, what i think is a bug where my lvl 15 paladin has a +1 wis modifier but the saving throw is a +10. Not sure if this is the same bug or not, or i'm just bad at making a paladin.

No bug here! Sorry about that.
awesome, thanks for following up on that.
Thanks for the quick update. I will keep that in mind. Appreciate all the work you are putting in.

Tried doing a point buy system and the wis modifier is -1 but the saving throw is +8
