I am not full familiar with the home brew system and was wondering how to make a spell addition on the weapon i made appear on my character sheet if its possible.
I added the ability for the weapon to cast ray of frost but it has not shown up on my character sheet. is it because its is for sorcerers and wizards, or did i just fill it out wrong. please help thank you
On the main page for the item, under the ADDITIONAL INFORMATION section, you haven't defined the item as having charges.
On the spell you added Ray of Frost you defined that it costs from 3 to 5 charges for each cast and is cast as if the caster is level 5.
I recommend the following changes:
In the ADDITIONAL INFORMATION section, check the box for HAS CHARGES.
Enter the number of charges you wish the item to have in the NUMBER OF CHARGES box.
Set a CHARGE RESET CONDITION.
Under the spell, set MIN CHARGES and MAX CHARGES fields both to a value of 1, so that it costs 1 charge to use the spell.
A note on publishing homebrew - please don't make your homebrew public until you have tested it yourself and it works, otherwise people may end up adding homebrew that doesn't work. Thank you. :)
