Here's the link to my homebrew race: https://www.dndbeyond.com/characters/races/88571-bearfolk. I have made subraces for my homebrew race, but the validation error remains. I don't intend to publish this race, but the validation error is annoying.
I am also unable to select race group for the subraces because the parent race doesn't appear in the drop down.
The red text warning is only re-evaluated when you hit the SAVE button.
Race groups are currently only for officially published races. This may change in the future, but for now you're not able to create homebrew racial groups, sorry!
