So I'm so going to play my next campaign as a Variant Human and I'm planning on picking up the Observant feat for my character. However when I do so, I receive no 'prompt box' to select whether I want to increase Wisdom or Intelligence as stated in the feat and there was no increase in either stat on my abilities page. The +5 bonuses gained from the Observant feat does show up on my character sheet though.
If for example I go and pick the Tavern Brawler feat however I do see a 'prompt box' to pick between Strength and Dexterity as stated in the feat, which seems odd to me.
If for some reason any of these might obstruct, it is a 3rd level Monk Variant Human and it is assigned to a campaign.
You need to select the feat, and the desired ability increase, on the race page of the character builder. Sounds like you may have added the feat through the character sheet?
If in doubt, please provide a link to your character sheet here and a moderator can take a look.
The problem is because you've selected a homebrew feat named Observant, which doesn't grant the bonus to an ability score.
If you head to the race page of the character builder and select the dialog to choose your feat, you can see that the Observant feat you have selected is alphabetically after all of the official ones. If you scroll up, you can see the official Observant feat available for selection.
If you didn't create the feat yourself, it will have been shared with you by someone in the campaign that the character is in.

Thanks in advance for the help!
