I've posted this before but it didn't get any attention and is still a persistent problem.
I've input several homebrewed races. The individual races work just fine, showing up in alphabetical order.
however, races with subraces aren't properly grouping when displaying in the character builder.
for example, I have a bearfolk race, with 2 subraces. When selecting a race in the character builder, rather than seeing a listing for bearfolk with 2 subraces, I instead see the subraces sorted alphabetically with everything else. This results in the subraces being separated in the character builder.
is this a bug? or do I need to change something about the races to make them display properly?
At this time, race grouping only occurs for official races, due to the way the race parent/subrace system is designed.
It is likely that this changes in the future, but for now the system is working as designed, though we understand this is not how you expect it to work.
