It seems that I can no longer login to DnDbeond with Safari on my iPad. I get to the twitch login screen and I get an error message. For a while now, I believe since the change in ownership, I would have to login and authenticate each time I opened Safari. That was annoying but not a deal breaker. But now I have to use a different browser completely.
A bit of investigating and I tracked it down to the adblocking app that I have on my iPad. If I disable it everything works again. Btw the way that the iPad is designed so only Safari uses the adblocking apps as apple has deliberately disabled other browsers from accessing the core systems that the adblockers use.
This is a little worrying as I am wondering what data DnDbeyond is collecting and what information they are passing to other sites that could be triggering this. Surely all the login system needs to do is verify our username and password. That seems very straightforward. Does anyone have any idea what is causing this.
Unfortunately there is no way to whitelist sites and I certainly don’t want to have to browse the rest of the internet without an adblocker as there are just too many sites out there that flood you with junk.
It may be that there has been a change to the ad-blocker that is causing this - I'm not an expert on Apple equipment though, but I am unaware of any change in the way D&D Beyond functions that would cause this.
Ok if there haven’t been any changes on your end then I will look a bit deeper. I will try on a different iPad and see if it is something peculiar on my device.

Did all of the following and it seems to have fixed it.
* Cleared all History and website data in Safari.
* Deleted all devices in the connected devices setting in Dndbeyond.
* Did the same in my Twitch account
* Restarted iPad
The Clear History and Restart hadn’t worked on their own so I am assuming it was one of the other actions that fixed it.
Happy again. 😀
