Brown Bears, in the creature menu, do not have their climb speed reflected on their speed. They have it in the full entry, just not in the character sheet listing.
At first I didn't know what you werw talking about, because their speed is definitely on creature's stat block as displayed on the character sheet, but I figured it out.
You are talking about the summary bar that you click it to see the creature's details that has the creature's AC, HP, and speed. If the creature has multiple movement types, the bar shows the highest. That way, at a glance, you know the bear can move 40 feet instead of thinking it is the same as its 30 feet climb speed.
