Spell slot levels and class level are not the same number. The ranger's spellcasting feature has a chart that tells you how many spells and spell slots and their level you should have.
A Level 3 ranger, is a second level spellcaster, so it has 3 level 1 spell slots and knows 3 level 1 spells. Is that what your character has?
I've bought phb but all of the avalible spells for my lvl 3 Ranger won't show on my add spell list. Any1 know what to do?
