I recently hilariously realised that on D&D beyond, you can be killed by a short rest.
Lets say you have a Wizard character on 2hp with a CON score of 4 (-3) (no clue why you would). When you take a short rest, you expend a hit die, 1d6, to heal. This is affected by the CON modifier as usual, 1d6-3. Let's say you roll a 1, making the total -2. You lose 2 hit points, and can be reduced to death saves on your sheet.
There didn't used to be a consensus on what should happen RAW in this situation. But since then, Jeremy Crawford stated on twitter that if the total is a minimum of 0, and this was made official in the 2017 PHB errata
This seems like an oversight by the DND beyond team. Recovery of hit points on a short rest should have a minimum of 0
