One of the players in my campaign is trying to add the War Caster Feat to his character. When the Feat list is opened in the character editor the only feats that show up are Grappler and Firearm specialist. Anyone know any fixes for this?
The feat you are referring to is not part of the D&D 5th edition SRD or Critical Role content as the two you named are, and will need to be unlocked from the marketplace before you can use it on D&D Beyond.
You may also purchase feats from the marketplace - should you later wish to purchase the sourcebook that they came from, any such individual purchases are fully discounted from the price of the sourcebook.
D&D Beyond can be used for free and contains information from the following "free to use" sources published by Wizards of the Coast: D&D 5th edition SRD, D&D 5th edition Basic Rules, and Elemental Evil Companion.
You are also welcome to create your own content using the D&D Beyond homebrew tools. If you have any troubles with the system, the community can be of great help in learning the ropes.:)
I wish there was a pinned thread of frequently asked questions that explained what needed to be purchased to use. It could also cover pricing questions. We could call it a pricing and purchase FAQ and pin it to the top of bugs and support, so people would see it and have these kinds of questions answered before they even had to ask.
I have purchased them. I can give said feat to other characters but I cannot give this feat to this one character, content sharing is on. The Feat list just doesn't appear for him other than the 2 I mentioned above.

Can you provide a link to the character please, so that a moderator can take a look?

Turn content sharing off and on again. (Maybe this solution should be added to the FAQ I talked about earlier.)
So I turned content Sharing off and on again and it wouldn't let me change it immediately but a few hours later and it works just fine.
