I was going through trying to create a character (not attached to any campaign) and I saw that I did not have the option to pick Battlemaster for an archetype in the dropdown for types at level three. It's in the PHB so it should be an available option correct?

D&D Beyond FoundersThe Player's Handbook is not free - the free content is from the Basic Rules and SRD (System Reference Document).
You can purchase the subclass individually also, and doing so will discount the cost of the full PHB if you decide to upgrade later!
