I'm currently trying to place a homebrew Paladin subclass onto the public Homebrew page, but it says I can't sumbit it because something linked into it that is Private homebrew or licensed content. I can't find where any of that is, and I'm very confused as to how something like that got there. Is it because I'm using existing spells from the PHB? I'm unsure of what is wrong or what to do and could use some help
Remember that eligibility to publish is only re-checked when you hit that save button! If you are seeing a message in red text that prevents you from publishing your homebrew, but believe it is incorrect, please hit the SAVE button.
Also, please note that spell that are in the PHB are also licensed content - only spells from the Basic Rules (SRD) may be included in published homebrew.
I have made this exact issue this week. If you go through your Oath Spells, look for any that say PHB. You can then go into the Spells page for the website and search for spells only in a specific source to find spells that can be used for Published Homebrew. If further assistance is required, You can message me or post a reply here.

Let's have some fun shall we?
Probably, yes. Spells (and pretty much anything) that isn't part of the basic rules or elemental evil are licensed content.
