Sorry to be a bother, I'm not sure if this has been discussed before or not but I mot sure that my account is tied to the email address I now use, and the whole twitch account thing has me confused.
Is there a method in which I can alter the email address/twitch account that my profile is under?
On that page, there is a purple button labelled "Manage Twitch Account" - if you click that, it will take you through to the Twitch website, where you can make changes to your account, including changing the email address.
Either this is out of date or you are wrong as i dont see that button there

Yes, D&D Beyond has seen numerous changes since July of 2018 when this thread was posted. You can now link your Twitch or Google accounts using this page.

if you hover your mouse pointer over your username at the top-right of the page and select "Account" it will take you to the account page.
Alternatively, you can click here: https://www.dndbeyond.com/account
