As in the title, when I create a magic using subclass for Monk, Rogue, or Fighter, the number of spell slots and spells/cantrips known is completely unaffected by picking Half-level or Level or - in the Spell Prepare Type. It is always set to the same number of cantrips, spell slots and number of spells known as Eldritch Knight or Arcane Trickster.
I have searched through the forums and can't find anyone else mentioning this, so any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks everyone!
There are known issues that the devs are aware of with trying to add Prepared Spellcasting or Pact Magic to classes that do not already have them. This is likely because there is not a place where this is done in official content.
There is no ETA on when this corrected functionality will be added at this time.
Thank you for your report!
