I have purchased the Lizardfolk race and it won't show up for creating a character. Is there a way around this or a way to fix this? I wanted to make something unique for the next campaign that starts in about 2 days that matches my play style so it is easier to hop in and my days are packed. Was hoping that I could rely on d&d Beyond to help me fill in the stats as it looks like my friends are starting this campaign where they left off at lvl 17 and i'm jumping in the middle of it.
Problem is that after purchase of the Lizard folk, it doesn't show up as one of the races that I can play as. Information on some of the forums indicates that the Blood hunter and its associated pacts are free to play and available, but none of the blood hunter stuff shows up in class selection. So everything I need is locked out for me. What am I missing?
ok, figured out lizard folk. Had to create the character under a different race and then go back in and update the race to the lizard folk. it updated it there. Now I still need to figure out why it won't show me the Blood hunter classes.
aaaand figured it out. god that was a nightmare. nvm guys.
For those of you that want to know, I had to go in and change all of the settings opening EVERYTHING up so that all content I should have access to at character creation is there. For some reason D&D Beyond doesn't ask when you start making the character what settings you would like. It just starts you off with making the character and you have to go back and change the settings later.
Pretty sure I have all of these settings opened up for the other characters I've been experimenting with, but for some reason this one decided to be a ***** and not open it all up like all the others are set to.
Naturally I would post the question for asking for help 3 hrs into my fight only to find the answer right after I post the question. -.-

There is sometimes a delay in unlocked content being selectable. Try clearing cache.
The bloodhunter is Critical Role content. Make sure it is enabled in character preferences.
