So I am making an NPC for my campaign and they have the Gladiator background. So when I choose the unusual weapon of theirs I want to add a whip but when I go to add it, nothing shows up when I type in Whip. Is this just me?
Check the "proficient" filter. That may be preventing you from seeing the item. It's enabled by default to shorten the list.
