The most likely case right now is you are not proficient with the blowgun so you would need to uncheck the "Proficient" box in the item filters.
Just a warning with that though, is that there is a known bug with equipping a blowgun or net that will cause the sheet to break. A fix for that should be out shortly!
There are blowgun darts but no actual blowgun.

Staff replaced it with a boomerang. ;)
Still don't know what material the boomerang came from.
