DDB's search gives no results for a search of "subjest"... Not that that means anything :P
But even googling "D&D subjest" doesn't bring up much, and googling the exact phrase "terrible whispers of evil and darkness" brings up nothing of relevance, so I'm not sure where OP is seeing this.

For the record, I didn't use DDB's search (I know better). I went to the backgrounds list, expanded all entries, then used "find word" in my browser. I tried multiple wprds from the quote besides the misspelled word. No backgrounds on DDB have that flaw.

English teacher here, just noticed a typo is all:
FLAWS: "I am subjest to terrible whispers of evil and darkness due to my origins."
I assume it is subject, not subjest. :)

Ah, yes, looks to be homebrew my bad.
It was listed under "Background" as "Alchemic Experiment", but did verify it's HB.
