I've designed several spells for my own game, some of which are based on other properties or old editions of D&D. I have no intention of publishing them to the public, so I believe I'm adhering to the homebrew rules and guidelines. For some reason, I cannot save the name of a spell as "Walking Bomb" (based off a spell in the Dragon Age games). I can save it if I add to or change the name. "Lesser Walking Bomb" saves just fine, for example, but if I edit the name and save the changes, I get an Internal Server Error 500 page.
I even have a stronger version of the spell called "Virulent Walking Bomb" that saved fine, I can change the name to "Walking Bom", "Walkin' Bomb", and just about any other combination of letters other than what I want. This has been consistent for the past couple days. I can still add other homebrew spells without issue, it is just this one giving me a problem.
I have noticed the same/similar problem in the last several days. There will be periods of time (sometimes minutes, sometimes hours) in which changes I make to homebrew items of any kind do not "stick." I click save, the edit page reloads, and my edits remain on the screen. If I leave and return, the edits are gone. This happens across multiple browsers/devices.
1. I'm on my PC, tried using both Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
2. No browser extensions.
3. Cleared my cache and tried again, no effect.
I've even tried saving another spell with that name, but it's the same issue. I can rename any other spell just fine unless it is specifically "Walking Bomb."

Would you be able to provide a list of steps that leads to this occurrence? Is it at all possible that a required field was missed, which would have allowed the page to reload (validation check), but would not have saved the changes until the missing field was filled in?

Thank you! I'm passing along this info to the team.

Hello, I am unable to reproduce the issue you describe. Could you answer a couple questions for me?

No, it is not that I missed a required field.
1. Create a spell or background from a copy of an existing spell or background.
2. Just change the name. Nothing else. Not using any unusual characters.
3. Click Save
4. The name is still “copy_of_…”
This applies to other kinds of edits, also. Not just renaming.
