I'm currently in a campaign through D&D Beyond where Volo's Guide to Monsters is shared with me. I can access the book itself and all the material. I can pick all the other races available from the Sourcebook in the Character creator, however, the only option I have available to choose from in the Character Creator for Assimar is the Variant Aasimar. I can't find the Base Aasimar race and therefore can't choose any of its subraces.
Do I need to purchase the races from the sourcebook myself or is this a bug of some kind? Some help would be appreciated since my next session is Tuesday.
Please note that whilst you can read all of the sourcebooks shared with you, only characters that are in the campaign where sharing is activated are eligible to use the shared content.

The variant aasimar is grouped with the other aasimar subraces. They aren't separate.
