The notes for Mithral Chain Mail retain the strength requirements and stealth disadvantage of Chain Mail in the notes, despite the text concerning mithral armor.

"Evil isn't the real threat to the world. Stupid is just as destructive as Evil, maybe more so, and it’s a hell of a lot more common. What we really need is a crusade against Stupid. That might actually make a difference.” ― Jim Butcher
Straight from the SRD: Mithral Armor Armor (medium or heavy, but not hide), uncommon Mithral is a light, flexible metal. A mithral chain shirt or breastplate can be worn under normal clothes. If the armor normally imposes disadvantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks or has a Strength requirement, the mithral version of the armor doesn’t.
Working on this - trust me, it's a little more complicated than simply deleting a note to make sure that the system handles this (especially for homebrew).
I know it takes a bit to fix notes - But strength is on the Mithral Splint and Mithral Plate as well despite the expanded text saying there is not a strength requirement.
The following Mithral have the stealth issue - Chain, Half Plate, Scale Mail, Splint, and Plate.
I am glad that this may actually be harder to work out due to working on us being able to add Homebrew options. I'm just hoping, our homebrew options are way easier to edit. :) I'll be testing that with a combo of my own things and a friends when we have the chance in a later phase.
That's actually fantastic news, given what it implies for later stages. :)

I have a character in one of the campaigns I run who is still having this issue. Has this been fixed yet? If so, is there a version update I need to look into?
