Since he's in your campaign, try to find it yourself on his character sheet. You shouldn't have to, but maybe the "proficiency" option is checked. Also edit his character and go to the first section and see if he has homebrew enabled.
Can you post a link to his character? (don't worry only mods and staff can access it) Also let me know the name of the homebrew item (maybe post a link to it as well)
I'm having the exact same issue as above. I've been trying daily to add an item to my players sheet. Homebrew is enabled, I'm the DM of the campaign and I have an appropriate subscription. I'm working on rolling out Beyond as the platform of choice for my game and this is really holding me back. I am allowed to add items to my players sheets, correct? The name of the Homebrew item is the submitted/accepted version of the Dagger of Invulnerablility. His character is:
Edit: It looks like my Master Teir Subscription isn't sharing the books I've purchased with my players. Would this also impact access to homebrew content for my players?
It was an issue with myself. I figured it out, I hadn't toggled account sharing in my campaign. Thanks so much for your time and I hope this helps other players/dm's.

I've created a HomeBrew Magic Item for a player in my campaign, content sharing is enabled for the campaign, and I have the Master subscription.

Homebrew is enabled on the character, and when I search in the equipment on their character sheet, I do NOT see it.
But when I do it on a character of my own (which isn't in the campaign, I'm the DM), I see it.

We just tried the above again, and it worked this time when it didn't before.
Is there a delay between items being made, and between them being visible for others?
There very well may be. It could be related to the cache issue the site has from time to time. This is good info though.

I've seen some things take up to 30 minutes to populate, even after clearing my local browser cache. I've heard of others taking much longer.
