I just bought the legendary option and so far it looks great. Then I took my iPad to my game table and sat down excited to start using it. I open the app and I cant find my favorite feature of the website, the global search feature that is in the header. I tried using Chrome and Safari, no luck. Accessing material in a timely manner is important when playing and if I can't have the global search when using my tablet, then the app is very limiting. Has anyone else had this problem?
I just think that a native app is the way to go. If I lose my internet connection, I'm out of luck.. after paying $280.
I don't own an iPad, but I understand that the search icon displays if you turn the tablet through 90 degrees.
Thanks for this. You were correct and I just noticed another post about it. It looks like the search display while in portrait on 9" tablet displays, but hides when turned to landscape. It's the opposite when using the 12.5" iPad Pros.
I had the same issue, but created a favorite for the following link: https://www.dndbeyond.com/search and added it as a second tab on my iPad Safari/Chrome window.
