I got a question about the content of the subscription and I hope that I´m in the right part of the forum.
If I subscribe, do I have access to all the rulebooks content? In the comparision of the different kinds subscriptions-models, I saw that most of the advantages are about creating characters and other content, so I was wondering, if I would get full access to all rules, or had to purchase them.
If it´s not like that, there should be some kind of subscription-model that has this feature. I´m fairly new to the game and purchasing all of the rulebooks is just way to expensive, considering that I only need a few aspects out of each book, for creating my character. I wouldn´t pay 30$ for a rulebook from wich I just need one background for my character. If there was a subscription for about 10$/month or so, I would absolutley purchase it. I know that his will cost me more over time, but for a beginner who doesn´t really know yet, how long he will play this game, it´s far more attractive. I know that there is a option to purchase single elements from a module for 2$ or so, but right now I´m in an experimental phase and would love to have access to more stuff, without having to pay a fortune. Trying out many things with singel purchases will be ending up expensive as well...

Neither subscription tier (Hero or Master) grants content access. All content is acquired through purchases, either of the full book, or individual elements.
Subscriptions grant you the following:
Hero Tier
Remove all adverts
Unlimited character slots
Save public homebrew to your homebrew collection
Access tools and features while they're in alpha, ahead of non-subscribers
Master Tier
All features from Hero Tier
Activate content sharing in up to 5 campaigns (until end of year, at which point it will return to 3), sharing all content owned by all members with all other members.

Fortunately you don't need to, if you want a single background, race, subrace, class, subclass, magic item, spell or monster, you can purchase just that option. If you go to any book in the marketplace and scroll down, you'll find all the individual purchase options, as well as bundles.
Also, any purchases you make that way are credited towards the cost of the full book. This means if you purchase a spell for $1.99 and a bundle for $9.99, you'll get $11.98 credit towards the book should you decide to purchase it.
I know that his will cost me more over time, but for a beginner who doesn´t really know yet, how long he will play this game, it´s far more attractive.
Remember that the Basic Rules are free and can be found on D&D Beyond. If you're unsure about committing money to the hobby, I suggest starting there.

Thanks for your fast reply. I didn´t know that single purchases would be credited to the price of the book, wich I think is great.
But nontheless I think that some kind of "content-subscription" would be great :D
Thanks for your help mate, have a nice day!
