Hey guys,

I just found this super cool website, though I realized when I wanted to create a character that I'm not able to chose a drow. I then figured out that you have to buy the player's handbook to unlock this character. I have this book already though, so it actually doesn't make sense to me to buy it here again just to have access to this kind of character. Is there a way to get this kind of character anyway?

I hope it's the right Thread section, if not I'm sorry. I relatively new to this.

It makes a lot of sense, you bought your book from a different company. D&D Beyond have to pay licensing to WotC (the company that makes D&D) to give you non-free content. Why on Earth would you expect them to do that and get nothing in return for it? They'd go bankrupt.

If you don't want to pay for the book you can buy just the subrace for $1.99.

If you don't want to do that use the Homebrew tools to recreate it for free.
