I am thinking of buying Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, but I have a Circle of Stars Druid, and I know the book includes changes to that subclass. Since I already created her, will the book I buy add in the changes automatically? Or will it let me choose? Or will I have to recreate her from scratch if I want to see the changes appear?
Not sure which I'm hoping for, I just want to know before purchase how this could possibly affect my character.

D&D Beyond FoundersThe circle of stars is currently UA which means it's playtest rules available for free.
If at any point that subclass is released in an official sourcebook, then we'll have it available on the site as part of that book.
When this happens it's always added as a new subclass, so existing characters aren't forced to change.
