I have not been able to pull up any of my character sheets in IE in the last bit. I could do so fine earlier today, but it will not pull up any of my characters now. I have been able to pull up some in Chrome, but have not checked them all there, assume all work fine in Chrome. IE is my prefered browser for the sheets though, since I cannot modify many of the character aspects in Chrome, due to how you do the pop-ups for race/class/etc. Please help with getting IE working again.
Hi there DragonDenn, Internet Explorer is no longer a current browser (it's final update was published in 2013). Unfortunately it is possible that as updates continue with D&D Beyond and with browser technology that the older browser will not be able to function at it's best. You may wish to consider looking into an option such as Microsoft Edge, which is Microsoft's current browser offering.
That is fine, as soon as they are fully supported for blind players on DND Beyond for character sheet builder. The only option, that a blind player can use for the Character Builder, is IE. I am not sure what technology you use for your Popups, but those break the builder for blind players. The only work around I have found is to use IE and activate popup through a clunky method there. I cannot do so on Chrome, Edge, or Firefox. Also it does not work on Safari on my IPhone either.
The place where it breaks is anywhere you require some sort of popup to be activated. This is normally when adding a new class or when adding the race, but also happens sometimes when changing from a custom background to a different one or when leveling a character up or down. In all of these instances the only browser a blind player can use is IE.
I sure hope you get this fixed prior to moving to a version of your site that does not support IE, as it would make a lot of the things unsupported for blind players. after all you cannot even create a character when you cannot choose a race or class.
Thanks.
