I have a few questions/issues with the game log... not sure if it is fully operational already, but here goes.
1)I have noticed that the game log does not work in conjunction with the beyond20 extension. I assume the latter is not your concern? I realise that one only needs one at a time more often than not (if you use roll20 you can use the beyond20 app and use the roll20 log, whereas if you use another platform that doesn't have a log, you can roll the dice here and share it through this log, provided you turn off the extension... but I figure there must be a few fringe cases where you'd want to have both options available?)
2) would it be possible to open/pin the game log to the DM screen? is making that possible something you're planning to do?
3) how does a DM go about rolling dice without having to open/use the character sheet of one of their players? possibly pinning the dice roller and the log to the DM screen could solve that?
The only question I can answer is the first: The Beyond20 extension is a third party tool and so DNDBeyond has absolutely no control over anything that it does.
