I have all the monster supplements through being shared by a friend and I'm trying to looking up the stats for an Elder Brain for my game and I can't find them to save my life.
I know they're in Volos guide to monsters. But clicking on the link for the ToC takes me to the beginning of the Bestiary and searching for Elder Brains on the search function takes me to the Illithid section with no statblock. I'm just frustrated.
It’s incredibly frustrating to navigate... I would like to be able to pop back to the table of contents with the hyperlinks with simple push — yes, I know there is a workaround using bookmarks... It would benefit everyone if the devs would spend some time improving navigation.

I think you might be missing something...On the desktop site, you can use the 'back to top' button and then the breadcrumbs to get back to the contents quickly. The mobile app, if you tap the screen you get a menu that lets you nav around quickly too. I've found both to be pretty easy to use.
Yes, this is through the mobile application. I have seen the thumbnails pop up from time to time, but they have been unreliable — maybe I just don’t have the special touch. The app also isn’t very stable and crashes a lot — It’s not device specific, I can recreate the same event from several devices. The fancy PDF reader isn’t that great. Between hardcover, D&D Beyond, and Fantasy Grounds I spend quite a bit for reproduced material I already own...
Hmm, i haven't had any trouble with crashing on my Samsung galaxy devices. One thing i discovered yesterday is that, using the website on mobile, the 'back to top' and breadcrumbs i referred to aren't there in portrait mode, but if you rotate to landscape then its rendered it just like the desktop site. The same is true for the character sheet. Its pretty sweet.
So, if you're cruising through source books you can either read in landscape or just flip your tablet over when you need to quickly get back to the conents or jump around between sections. The app itself gives you the contents if you tap on it.

When I click on Elder Brain from Volo's ToC, it takes me to this address, which is the paragraph on Elder Brains in the Bestiary.
You can also use the Monster Listing.

Hi Sean, is this with the mobile app?

If you tap while inside of a book and hit the bullets and lines icon, it brings you right back to the ToC. Doesn't crash for me on my G6 or iPhone 6.
