I know this is kinda whack as hell but I love Tieflings so much
Starting at 4th level, and want the best possible spread for him! I really wanna impress/pull my weight since we only really have one other frontliner in combat. I know artificers are more supportive in their roles, but I chose armorer solely to be epic and funny and have higher AC than our fighter
Do you mean Point-Buy, or Standard Array? If Point-Buy, then I'd say that a 9, 12, 15, 15, 10, 10 base spread is about the best you can do IMO (since I personally dislike negative stats). As for Standard Array, maybe 8, 12, 14, 15, 10, 13, for a base spread, in that regard? It's not entirely Min-maxed, but it's hard to truly min-max a caster, when your race's main +2 bonus isn't to the casting stat specifically, especially when the subclass can allow you to lean exponentially hard onto the caster stat.
I will say this, however. If you plan to front-line for your team, keep this part of Armor Model in mind: "Each model includes a special weapon. When you attack with that weapon, you can add your Intelligence modifier, instead of Strength or Dexterity, to the attack and damage rolls."
Need to punch something? Thunder Gauntlets. Need to shoot something? Either cantrips/spells, or Lightning Launcher. As you level, grab what feats you need, then focus SPECIFICALLY on boosting your Intelligence stat. Your high AC should make your Con stat a secondary focus, and since you'll likely wind up in Half or Full Plate, increasing your Dex beyond a 14 should be an afterthought at most, especially since you're a half-caster that can rely on Intelligence for anything martial-related. An argument can be made for increasing Dex, for the sole purpose of boosting your Initiative. However, of all the classes out there, you're the one most likely to pull a Sentinel Shield out of your back pocket, sooooo...
