How do I make a piece of armor my arcane armor?

I'm trying to make some armor my arcane armor for the purpose of ignoring the strength requirement, however I don't see a button to do this. I was expecting something similar to how hexblades/eldrtich knights pact their weapons but with armor but I can't seem to find any way to apply it. Can anyone help?
