I am actually curious about which Arcana Unleashed Adept feat is best for an Artillerist but figured it would be more interesting to discuss this more broadly.
I think the AU Adept feats are especially good for any Artificer-Wizard multiclass since otherwise they do not get 5th level spells (no preps despite slots). There are a couple of other feats that also give those higher-level spells slots - Potent Dragonmark, Gun-Mage Adept, others? but the AU spell lists and extra abilities seem quite good. My opinion / thoughts are below:
Evocation Adept is the one that many people are talking about the most - great spell list and I think it is good for many Artificer subclasses to add blaster spells. These do not become Artificer spells so I don't think they can go in the Spell Storing Item but still, Wall of Force plus many of the best blaster spells in the game (Shatter, Fireball, Vitriolic Sphere), not to mention adding HD of damage to AoE spells to multiply the impact of your HD, overall very high impact. However, given how many spells are redundant with Artillerist I am not so enthusiastic about taking this on an Artillerist (although the DPR boost might make it worth it).
I actually wanted to take Enchanter Adept on my Artillerist (leaning into a Zilargo Gnome spy / sniper theme) but the Artificer has no Enchantment spells (just Catnap) on their spell lists so the subtle spell feature seems underutilized. The spells that come with that feat are pretty good (esp. Dissonant Whispers & Hold Person). My character does have Magic Initiate but Charm Person, meh...?
Similar issue with Illusionist Adept. Some more illusion spells on the Artificer spell list (not many worth it) but only Invisibility would really leverage the saving throw disadvantage part of the feat and none really leverage the subtle spell part).
Abjuration adept gives you Shield if you are one of the subclasses that does not get shield but Lesser Restoration and Protection from Energy are already on our lists. Banishment is pretty good and I guess the ward is ok, but as a half caster we are not casting many high-level spells.
Conjuration Adept seems like one of the best picks (particularly for an Artillerist but also for other subclasses). All new spells and Int Mod to Concentration checks is pretty great. Entangle is a great control spell, Conjure Animals is not quite Spirit Guardians but is a pretty good persistent, moveable AoE (BA conflict for a couple of subclasses, including Artillerist, that might not let it move much). Misty Step and Dimension door are some of the best movement spells in the game. Conjure Elemental might have a place in single-target damage / boss battles (also would lean into Elemental control aspect of my Eberron Gnome)
Transmutation Adept might be a good way to get Slow and Polymorph (and would let Artillerist make Wands of Polymorph) but other 3 spells are on our lists. We have a ton of Transmutation spells on our spell lists and added movement is also good on many of our subclasses so could be ok so might be a possible pick.
Necromancy Adept seems like a bad spell list so not sure it is worth it for any subclass.
