So, as an artificer, I see it as my job to be making things at all times for the party. So far I have made a Staff of Adornment for myself that I call "Special Delivery". and I made an Enduring Spell Book for my party Wizard that I call "Ananzi's Envy"
If you can't tell, my artificer has a penchant for naming things. The book shelf he built on our boat is called "Font of the Sea". And we have a deck mounted Ballista called "Diplomacy" and a mini-catapult called "Tact". Oh, and when I repaired the captain's door after waking her by making it scream at her (she was hung over) it was named "Dawn's Cry".
So what projects are you working on for your group or your self. Especially when you hit level 10 and time and gold costs go down, what will you make?
An AC style Hidden Blade for the rogue, a springloader/magazine for the fighter's hand crossbow, a set of flying fox suits (dubbed Dragon's Wings) and COUNTLESS snare, bear and acid traps of DC 25+ (the highest was DC32).

Hjalmar Gunderson, Vuman Alchemist Plague Doctor in a HB Campaign, Post Netherese Invasion Cormyr (lvl20 retired) Godfrey, Autognome Butler in Ghosts of Saltmarsh into Spelljammer Grímr Skeggisson, Goliath Rune Knight in Rime of the Frostmaiden DM of two HB campaigns set in the same world.
So Far for unique projects I've Made Some Goggle for myself dubbed Artificers Field Goggles. I'm Also working on a Staff that will act as a housing for interchangeable components with Spells inscribed on them so I can expand my spell list.
Flying fox... are your players ALL video game characters?
... um. No ... ? But one of them is constantly referenced a a low Int He-Man complete with blonde mullet if that makes you feel any better? We needed to get down a huge mountain quicker, so I proposed, the group seemed interested, I rolled high, we glided and discarded them at the base.
