If my Battle Smith picked up an Insignia of the Claw making his unarmed attacks count as magical, would i be able to use my Int for attack and damage rolls? I have a future Tabaxi Artificer who would love to know the answer.
So the text on the insignia of claws refers to the attacks being magical, rather than the natural weapons that are used to make the attacks. To me: RAW no, this interaction would not work.
But as both a DM AND a player, I would have no problem with it. I know that battle smith's get nifty abilities when you attack with magical weapons, and the only real advantage I can think of this giving would be if the party's gear were taken away, but eldritch knight, bladelocks, and monks are already all unaffected by that. So it's not a big deal in my opinion.
