Well, I'm not sure what trait you mean by "bite" from rage. I may be wrong but I think thats not a trait at all but maybe you meant to say "to keep benefits from rage applied to bite actions from your wildshape", am I right?
In that case, I think we must know if beasts can rage and maybe it's up to your DM say that since RAW it is a bit confusing I assume.
looking to Rage the only limitator I see is that you can't cast or mantain consentration on spells while raging, however Wildshape stands as a magical transformation, but it doesn't say that it's a casting spell neither you have to concentrate to mantain it form.
But let's look further on Wild Shape where it says:
- You retain the benefit of any features from your class, race, or other source and can use them if the new form is physically capable of doing so. However, you can't use any of your special senses, such as darkvision, unless your new form also has that sense.
In that case, we can assume that if you have any class features, even from multiclass, you can keep it while transformed by wildshape. It must be something that the creature are able to do so.
Now the question is: is raging something appliable to any beast? and I mean raging as the trait is: "a primal ferocity" beyond regular anger.
I would say that yes, the RAW isn't as clear as possible but can be seen that way. However I havn't search another sorcer beyond PHB to know if that matter is clarefyied somehow elsewhere. Also, If it was a question on my tables, I would check for possible OP or gamebreaking results from this before I would allow it.
The bite i was talking about was the beast path barbarian feature from i believe tasha's. But that was really helpful i didnt see that part of wildshape in the phb thanks!

I'm playing a beast barbarian moon druid, and wanted to know if my bite trait from rage would carry over to my dire wolf form
