As a Barbarian/Priest, I want to cast "Warding Bond" on my healer and then go into rage. So my healer would have all the benefits of Warding Bond and since its not a concentration spell, the spell lasts while I'm in a rage. Since my healer would have resistance to all damage and I would have resistance to bludgeoning, slashing, piercing damage. So would the damage sent to me be reduced to 1/4 of the total damage? Would the resistance of "Warding Bond" stack with the resistance of "Barbarian's Rage"?
WARDING BOND
2nd-level abjuration
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: Touch
Components: V, S, M (a pair of platinum rings worth at least 50 gp each, which you and the target must wear for the duration)
Duration: 1 hour
This spell wards a willing creature you touch and creates a mystic connection between you and the target until the spell ends. While the target is within 60 feet of you, it gains a +1 bonus to AC and saving throws, and it has resistance to all damage. Also, each time it takes damage, you take the same amount of damage.
The spell ends if you drop to 0 hit points or if you and the target become separated by more than 60 feet. It also ends if the spell is cast again on either of the connected creatures. You can also dismiss the spell as an action.
The damage you're taking is caused by warding bond and doesn't appear to have a type. I don't think you can resist it with rage because it isn't s/p/b.
The Bear Totem Barbarian is resistance to all damage except psychic damage. So since the "damage" of Warding Bond isn't specified, it wouldn't be psychic damage. So would the raging bear totem barbarian get the resistance of raging and the resistance of warding bond that was cast on the healer from the Barbarian/Cleric?
Sorry about the late reply, but resistances do not stack. Since the damage in warding bond isn’t specified, I would probably say that’s up to your DM if it matches the damage type that the warded creature recieves or if it’s just flat damage.
Well the resistance doesnt stack on one person though. The priest resists the damage they take, the damage the priest actually takes is also transferred to the barbarian as magical shared damage, not the original sword damage. Then the barbarian resists the magically transferred damage of Warding Bond.
So lets say the Priest is hit with a slashing sword attack for 20 dmg. The priest resists that damage with Warding Bond to only take 10 damage. That 10 damage is also transferred to the barbarian as just shared magical damage. The damage the barbarian takes is "magical damage" now, not resisted sword slashing damage. So her bear totem rage allows her to resist all damage taken except psychic, so she should be able to resist the "magical damage" transferred from the Warding Bond. She's not resisting the original sword attack, only resisting the transferred Warding Bond damage, that's a magical damage that's transferred, not the original sword damage.

If a cleric casts "Warding Bond" on a raging barbarian, does the resistance stack twice for the damage dealt to the barbarian?

You would still take 10 damage as the Barbarian.
