I'm creating a character that is going to be a Tortle Barbarian, but their story is going to be that he's a Chef with a bad temper. I am using a warhammer and shield, flavored as a cast-iron pan and a particularly sturdy Wok.
What other kind of flavor can I add that I'm not thinking of? I plan to take the Chef feat at level 4, cause that seems like an obvious choice for the character. Any guidance on a subclass that might fit well would be great too, i'm kind've leaning towards Wild Magic for the chaos of it all.
And please note that obviously this is not going for some kind of min-max, "best option" character. Just looking for some fun ways to support the backstory I've come up with! Thank you in advance.
Path of the Totem Warrior with a third level choice of Wolf would let you continue to be a buff to your allies - sort of continuing that chef theme of meeting the needs of others
Wolf
While you’re raging, your friends have advantage on melee attack rolls against any creature within 5 feet of you that is hostile to you. The spirit of the wolf makes you a leader of hunters.
or you could go full support with the Path of the Ancestral Guardian :-)

D&D, Youth Work and the Priesthood sadly do not typically interact... I do what I can!
