I am playing in CoS currently level 2 with rolled stats
Str,dex,con,int,wis,char
20, 16, 18, 5, 14, 7
I am thinking about going path of zealot, and then can't decided to stick as barbarian 1-10 or go 1-7 barbarian 1-3 fighter champion for better crits or 1-5 barbarian 1-4 fighter champion and 1 level of cleric warpriest or 1-9 barbarian with 1 level of warpriest cleric.
Any advise from more experienced barbarian players would be appreciated. If I got 2 ability score improvements would be GWM and either 2 to wisdom or 2 to constitution depending on which way I went.
A note to the cleric choice is that rage prevents you from using or concentrating on spells, so that choice comes down to what abilities you would actually use both during and out of rage, and if they are worth delaying or losing features you would gain as a barbarian. To the champion fighter question I tend to be iffy towards it in general, since I see battlemaster as just being better utility with all the maneuvers. The question there really boils down to how aggressive are you planning on being, since barbarians aren't only great for their damage potential, but also how simple it is to stay on a frontline and do damage as the most durable player at the table.

Thanks, I was only thinking a single level of war domain cleric for the straight bonus attack you get at level 1.
A mere two level dip into fighter gives you Action Surge. That's useful no matter what level you are.
"The Epic Level Handbook wasn't that bad, guys.
Guys, pls."
