So, I love the idea of the Path of the Beast. But any ideas on how to make it into a barb/ranger, someone who can track then kill their prey. And what race? Cause Wood elves make sense as they are close to nature, yet no strength/con increase. I guess dragonborn makes sense, as they get claws+tails. So any ideas?

there is a feat to have the equivalent of a favored enemy i believe.
And you can always get proficiency in survival. or expertise in it if you take the prodigy feat.

actual build. you'd have to dip ranger.
at the point... prob pick between gloomstalker or hunter. and do a small dip. 3 levels. but for fighting style, pick something that still works with your barbarian offense

If you multiclass barb ranger, you'll have to get at least 13 in Str, Dex, and Wis. You'll also want con high. Wood elf doesn't help with the str/con but does help with the other two. You can go 15, 13, 14, 10, 12, 8 to start that turns into 15, 15, 14, 10, 13, 8 with racials. You won't have to touch Wis after if you avoid spell hit/spell save options, many of which conflict with rage anyway.
