As changeling I have unlimited "disguise/alter self)" at my disposal without the possibility to alter my clothing which could be problematic.
if there'd be better advices than ideas in my head how to do this. The idea is for changeling Bard(Lore) and Warlock(Genie, Chain).
First I'd like to run down the feats which (the picks are not enough for those what one would like) are steered to certain direction:
Resilient (Constitution): To actually save with conc spells!
Spelll Sniper: to cover up the partial cover problem to hit with EB.
Keen ind: To actually have the information for long period time accurately what has been gathered (through you or through your invisible familiar) and comes handy with tongues spell etc.
With warlock the pact is Chain to have a familiar handy (imp) and invocations are:
Agonizing blast (+cha to dmg with EB with each beam)
Devil's Sight
Eyes of Rune keeper (read all writing)
Voice of the Chain Master
Misty Visions (Silent Image at will)
As a Lore Bard for Magical Secrets (lvl6) pick: Web and Pass Without a trace)
At 10th level of lore bard picked: Telekinesis and Wall of Force
As long as the spells goes on bard side those are:
Mage Hand
Message
Prestidigitation
Vicious Mockery
Cure Wounds
Detect Magic
Identify
Detect Thoughts
Gift of Gab
Locate Object
See Invisibility
Zone of Truth
Locate Creature
Mass Cure Wounds
Modify Memory
Raise Dead
And from Warlock side:
Create Bonfire
Eldritch Blast
Friends
Minor Illusion
Distort Value (This is for basically one of the alter egos to use)
Invisibility
Suggestion
Dispel Magic
Hypnotic Pattern
Summon Fey
Tongues
Charm Monster
Scrying
Synaptic Static
The Thing in the build is to play multiple personas to overcome some obstacles where those would be denied directly. Goblin (faked) cleric, Human merchant (charlatan) and possibility to add a gnome investigator (not too sure if it would be too complicated).
Technically whatever you have heard/seen in past month you could translate later, (the bard expertise is however you'd like them to be), unlimited range scout (your familiar if you have the time for 40ft per 10seconds which is invisible and you can read and remember all)
Expertise in deception and persuation with insigh can come a long way.
However I am a bit unsure of the buil should I drop warlock (and lose 2 short rest 5th level slots and genies party almost instant short rest) level to 6 and take 14 bard or 12 bard and 2 rogue?
Cheers and hopefully can learn a lot from upcoming wisom!
I hate to rain on your parade but the Changlings Shapechanger ability is not as powerful as you seem to think it is. One of the restrictions is you cannot change your size. While you will be fine mimicking a Human because their size is medium, I'm afraid Goblins and Gnomes are out of the question as they are small.

Unless you're using the updated Changeling in MMM, which can shift between Medium and Small.

I apparently was reading that, but as it sees it probably is not accepted in most tables in that sense so would think more options and drop charming all together and go with dominate. Really a shame in that sense, but oh well what can you do.
Really wanted to make a character that is investigative and great in lore-wise and added healing capabilities is something that made me think of pretending to be a goblin (all reflavored how it would look like) bard and warlock, but still (as I started to think further) it would be better off with bard, hawever I am contested by myself with 10/10 thing for some reason as I could have 4 5th level spell slots with 2 of those in short rest - however looking deeper in the bard it... nah, 10/10 it should be. Some oddities for me comes with the magical secrets as to pick the healing spirit or not, but I decided not as I have mass cure wounds.
One thing that I'd like to know that is there a better choices of spells to be made (still keeping healing) for detective part rather than those what was picked?
